If the Democrats have the ability to influence "most countries" to hate Bush, don't you think they could have mustered enough to win an election?

The dems have been asleep at the wheel for the past two years.

^^ missing the point.

If I was your only source of information from Turdboykistan and I told you that our President was a crook and stole the election would you believe me? Would it at the very least make you question the honesty of our President?

Again I'm not saying the Demos are the ONLY reason people dis-like Bush but they hurt him from the very begining by putting doubt into the minds of other countries who don't know any better.

Weazel, I disagree with pretty much every single thing you say, but that picture is freakin' hilarious.

Okay... :)

I just think the Dems are too ineffectual for blame or credit, whatever the case may be.

The fact that Kerry came out so vocally against Bush gives me hope for the Democratic party. :D

If I were actually registered as a dem, I'd be pleased. :)

If you are aking about world opinion, I'll give you some. Clinton was well liked around the world. He and Blair, for instance, were/are very close friends. I don't think Dubya and Blair are all that close, in comparison.

Bush Snr was well liked. Regan too, in a lot of places.

Nope, I don't think internal US party politics has anything to do with it. I think people just don't like or trust him, or his brand of 'tough talking'. He certainly doesn't fill me much confidence as a President. Powell is 10 times the man he is, IMO.

Frankly, I'm amazed at the speed at which Bush etc have pissed away the goodwill following 9-11. That's an achievement all by itself.
