Has this ever happend to you?

I was in a Yak-9T tank huning. I was engaged by a 190. He comes in for the boom and zoom, over-shoots, and zooms out. I have no chance of cattching him so I let loose a singe 35mm shell in his general direction. I see a single hit sprite, and BOOM! at about 1.3

I like the 35mm...

35mm?  Is this a new gun?    its a 37mm and no I have never hit anything that far with it.  Could be lucky shot or lag induced.

I got one luck shot like that under similar circumstance. Not as far as yours but I think the victim was at 650.

I have done this a few times. Of course, the opposite is true. I was fighting a low Yak the other night, had him down to D1, blasted him with the cannon, saw three flashes, he flew off. Of course he winds up killing me as I was dumbfounded he could still be alive. I messaged him, asking him how he could surive so many hits.

"You never touched me."

Net lag can be awful. Handed that guy two kills, didn't realize I never had a fighting chance.
