Is that the country you want, Funked?
"Only popular opinions are allowed."
Not true
"The united States of America does not care for any freedom of expression, only proscribed views are tolerated."
The USA is made of freedom of expression. But the cost of freedom is accepting the concequences of your actions. If you want to run for public office and use the argument that the general public is dumb, so they need a smart guy like you to lead them, you reap the consequences.
If you take advantage of your freedom of speech/expression to bash the president of the United States, and you happen to be an entertainment professional, and your audience happens to have different views than you do, then be prepared to accept the consequences. You are always free to say what you want in this country, but freedom of speech does not give you freedom to escape the freedoms that every other citizen in this country, of the world, is born with.
