Iraqi chem/bio usage
« on: March 25, 2003, 03:17:17 PM »
its rumored that Iraqi Rep Guard have instructions to fire chem weapons on Allied troops if they cross a certain point on their march to Baghdad.. now, if they fire the weapons that they have said for 12 years they didn't have, it will show them as blatent liars to the world.,

but do you think if they go for broke and fire chem or bio weapons, they will send a few chem scuds to Israel too, in order to get them involved?

Israel has been really quiet during the past week.

Who knows.   It's hard to guess the actions of a bunch of nuts.

I can't imagine they'd want more people involved, though.  They can't handle what they have.  Maybe they'd do it as revenge.

I heard the one about a line a few miles outside Baghdad, pretty much where the Allies are now.

If they have WMD's they will most likely use them.

What do they have to lose?

The only thing that may stop a front line commander is the fear of a war crimes trial.

But if SH, or one of his sons, or a fanatic has their hand on the trigger, so to speak, they will use the WMD's.

They're going down anyway, might as well take as many Aggressors as possible with them. That's the logic I can see them using.

My understanding is that we controll the area of Iraq that is the "SCUD Box" or the range limit area for scuds to reach Israel.

I'm absolutely certain that they will or they won't. It has to be one or the other.

BTW, I heard the line is about 25 miles further on.

However, remember what I said in the "Chem weapons factory captured!!!!!!!!!" thread:

The first rumor you hear is usually wrong.
