Few days ago I was asking whether it was sunset or dawn, then I looked up, roll a bit and there it was, the sun just avobe me and hidden by a cockpit bar. IMO, the sun light is too weak even at noon.

I agree, it would be nice to actually be "blinded" by the sun as well...theres a post somewhere explaining why this is not possible.
