I didn't say the system was playbalanced (which we don't want anyway do we? If so lets get rid of all the aircraft except one). I said the system was applied evenly across the board, ie the same assumptions were applied to both sides.

Now you have me confused.

You say you have proof of Spit IX's with mixed belts from 1944. Good! then your proving my point exactly.

So now we both agree that at least in 1944, some proof exists that both sides used mixed belts of ammunition. Which is what our system represents.

Not RAM's prior statement that Germans used mostly HE and the Allied used only AP.

However, how are the trajectories calculated?
IIRC the hispano's trajectory is calculated from the AP rounds performance but the Mauser's is from HE round. Shouldn't it be that both sets of numbers should be taken from HE or AP only and not mix them around.

And if we truly had mixed belts then there would be radical bullet dispersion from combining AP and HE shells, for hispano and mauser both. Now we have some sort of synthesis that has the principal effect of making Luftwobbles furious and The-Guys-Who-Fly-Hispano-AC defensive.

Albeit with a HE traveling at a AP's velocity. I figure we'd survive a whole second more if seperated ammunition was used.

User who turn off tracers should still get a leathality bonus, where applicable
