I'd say you'd get no more anti-buff whines if the conversion on the B-17 worked like the conversion on the P-51

vice-versa you'd get no more .50 weakness whines

Back to the topic. Yeah. I think there should be a toggle to turn off tracer smoke.

I would think it's up to the person gunning the bomber. It (tracers) already are an option.  I tend to shut off tracers when I'm going to jump in a vehicles or bombers because the tracers tend to advertise where you are, if you're in a vehicle as wel as it tells attacking fighters what gun you are manning in a bomber - even when you're firing at them.

no no, leave the tracers but kill the smoke.

Not all tracer rounds left smoke trails.

Hi

Guys im not suggesting that tracers be removed from the buffs, Just that they dont have smoke trails like the field acks don't.
I think it looks better was asking if anyone else does?

And thats what I mean. I like the look of just tracers and no smoke

Maybe one day we'll get the proper spiral trail

rifle caliber shells smoked alot, .50 and 20mm calibers shells didn't near as much.

37mm streaked. 75 didn't have them
