From what I've seen before I think the AH engine only supports one light source (Whihc is only sensible if you want a fast frame rate). If this is true than proper night would be a pretty huge technical undertaking.

This is what I'm talking about. No clouds have been added or anything. Just a matter of stripping the color from the sky. So instead of the graduated sky being made up of levels of blue, just insert the values for the shades of grey.

besides, that earlier dawn screen shot looks just like the one I saw this morning in Seattle from 5000 feet, anyone else see it?

No offense Rip, AH graphics are great, but um, have you looked at getting glasses?

Nash that altered screen shot looks awsome, puts you in the grim mood for death and destruction.

edit PS - Would need to dull the ground color a little to match the overcast and it'd be perfect.

Yeah Nash, that looks great.  Simple and effective.  Bring on the gray skies!

I live in England...the ONLY time I see blue skies and a bright sun is in AH. And you want to take it away from me?

Just for that Nash, I`m going to have to demand that you add streaky water droplets to the canopy and a nice big rainbow. Make it look good, eh?
