OpIvy,

For some of these off-topic posts, there is a forum called "The O'Club".  Its where all the off-topic discussions should be posted.

I watched it when I was a little kid and it was called "Baa Baa Black Sheep", and I watch it sometimes now.  An awful show, with men in their thirties and forties playing men in their twenties, but it has hogs.

Anybody notice that the Corsairs on the show need about 50% right rudder deflection for the whole takeoff run?

Yes funked,..try taking off in one of AH Corsairs without rudder, let me know how the hangars taste

DO NOT bring up black sheep when Geeman can read alittle better, he is OBSESSED with it, he has this little 'kiddie's tent' that he puts in an old TM Throttle and stick, and sits in the tent, the tent has 2 screened sides, he looks out one of the sides like a canopy pretends hes Boyington.  He will NOT move from that position for an hour.

My wife and I suffer with it (yes, suffer, the acting is dreadful) but realize that I may have had some influence on his love of vintage A/C

Great old show, watched it when it was new.

Robert Conrad was a rated pilot at the time of that show (could still be for all I know) and they actually used to let him taxi real aircraft.

Can you say temptation....?

Which one of you can honestly say you wouldn't have had that plane roaring down the runway
