Yup, looks like liberating American troops  marching down the Champ de Lisyee(sp??) Paris (Arc de Triumphe in the backgound) and so France from the Nazis.

There very well could have been allied planes flying over... those look like American troops to me.  ;)

They are in straight line, but don't look unarmed to me
