Is anyone else getting disconects with new patch?

I live just N of HTC and have a connection to Applink and it is ALWAYS rock solid. Tonight after DL'ing patch I have had 5 Discos.. I don't get a lost host connection sign. It just blinks off to desktop. Something is not right?? Is anyone else having same problem?

Thunder... RWY had the same problem when I was flying with him earlier....

This is a conspirasy to keep the 13th TAS out of action!

I had 2 CTD's in a row.  I asked on channel 1 if anyone else was having the problem, and just about everyone said they were.

2 tonight. one after about 5 min. another after an hour and a half.

 A squaddie had it much worse and re-installed DX. He had DX8a and doing that seemed to cure the problem for him. I'm re-installingloading DX8A now.

I flew over an hour with no problem.  Then I got five CTDs in the next hour.  

Well, three were standard CTDs, where one minute I was flying, the next minute--desktop.  The other two were different.  My screen froze, my sound stopped, and the mouse cursor appeared.  I could move the cursor fine, but nothing else worked except reset.

I haven't seen any of this behavior before tonight.

rgr that. I did notice AH loaded slwoer after re-installing DX8a so I deleted the video.cfg file and re-did the video settings. Loaded no faster but the next flight I was not dumped.

I had to log though  

No ideas left. I cannot duplicate it at all. Wonder if it's connection related?

Flew for 5 hours this afternoon.

No problems what-so-ever, had a lot of fun too. Of course at this time Skuzzy was online... good mojo I tell you!

4 CTD in 30 mins - then fine. Significant warping though. Reserving judgement until after people have finished downloading patches.

Didn't play real long but first login after installing patch I got a CTD when I first changed fields. After that flew for about an hour with NP.

Maybe it was the time of day... or lots of guys getting patch?? After I went in after this post I flew solid for 3 hours?? Maybe just the net?

Anybody notice anything that might be associated with the CTD?  Flying a particular plane, getting shot down, heavy furball, weather front, etc?

Logged in after executing the patch. Took me to some field that was away from the action.
Double clicked on a field up by Knight-land.

As I "traveled" I got the CTD.

Restarted AH, logged in, no other problems. Till I lost you in the clouds and you came out behind me.  

That was a major problem.

Pyro I was in a P-51D I was in clear weather and on auto climb. I was heading south and it happened just about the time I was ready to level off and start hunting. I was about 10 min into a grab just before getting to enemy. Three times in Twilight and once after the night had just quit. Nothing more here. I have not ingaged and not a lot of cons or clouds or clutter.

I can't get the freakin D/L to work.  It fails to open the HIRES file and shuts down.  Could that be a part if this too??
Seems reasonable, to me, anyway.

Yes I got 2 disconnects (crash to desk top) after 10 min each once in typhoon and once in A8 the only common thread is that both times I took off in overcast and disconnected soon after I came out of the weather into the clear.
