Used to fly Air Warrior 3 since it's beta.

Let me say that I find AH to be the far
better game, faster graphics and everything.

The one reason I no longer like AW3 is that
they removed the FR arena in which you
could fly all WW2 fighters like in AH.

I will take time to adapt, but I think my
AW3 days are over.

AH is simply more fun.

Let me be the first to welcome you to AH. I myself started flying these online sims back in AWDOS (1989). You have chosen the best the market has to offer in AH and I'm sure you'll have fun...a great community exist here as well, so enjoy!

If you ever need any help online, just comm me and I'll do my best

So now it's all just RR arenas?

That's a shame if true.

I have just joined AH but I am still flying AW as well.  I like the community there and know so many people in the arenas.  FR is still there and will not dissapear.  However whilst RR exists it will be flown by the majority of folk, and that's what brings the money in.  Personally I cannot see the sense in a flight sim with "Relaxed Realism".  It defeats the object.  Same reason I can't use one of those Microsnot Snidewinder joysticks.  When I learned to fly for real I had rudder pedals, not a twist grip stick

Hehe, yep F4U in AW didn't need hispanos to dominate   Only meeting another F4 ace like PC or BAL would make me afraid when I was in a Hawg.

I think the main difference was the climbrate - you could climb away from most planes, particually up high. With the AH F4U, this isn't quite true

No idea which is more accurate, although given the overall superb quality of AH I have my suspicions...  The difference was certainly striking though.

HEHEHE AW DOS pilot here too from eearly 93. Flew under the handle of Bullet Magnet first then later as Maverick with the 13th TAS. Loved the F6F there and the truly lethal 50's it had. Used to hate to fly the Euro theater as couldn't get my cat.
