Just read a report that Syria is sending equipment to Iraq. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,82377,00.html

I'm not a middle east expert nor a military strategist and don't profess to be but IMO Syria was/is a wild card. They've been making tons of "illegal", if you will, money from Iraq.

What do we know about Bashar al-Assad?
