He has a history of this. First playing iraqi propaganda minister in GW1 with his nombed baby milk plants, then the botched CNN chemical weapons story, then this garbage. He created this mess for himself over the past 12 years.

BTW wlfgng how can you assume he got axed for telling the truth if you havent even seen the interview?

Air guard, you must misunderstand the freedom of speech.  It doesn't mean we have to like him or hold him in high esteem if he says whatever he pleases.  Yes, he was free to say that and his tongue will not be cut from his mouth.  We do not have to like it and we are free to speak out against what he said and now we know what he is about.

When I say this a norwegian well know TV face lost his job too when he was bushing the attack on Iraq.

What i mean is I dont really bother what some people say i am able to make up my own mind and dont need help to do that :p
I hope.

Seen so much ****e and i want peace and quiet for the rest of my life, so take care all :)

Whats with you ignorant liberals idea of free speach that means one cannot loose his or her job or in our case BBS privelages at a PRIVATE BUSNIESS for violations of that PRIVATE BUSINESS' private policies.  All free speach means is that the GOVERNMENT has limited power to punish people or restrict their speach in an offical legal manner - limited as in you can say things but if you yell fire in a theater your butt goes to jail.

And if none of you understand why it was wrong for him to appear on a TV interview with an Iraqi MILITARY inteviever at a time of war and to say those things then you are beyond help.

no you have me wrong, actually...
I think he 'crossed the line'... however, I'm not ready to judge him yet.

my comment was towards those that are.

In light of the nature of the iraqi regime, the 'missing' reporters (abducted in pre-dawn hours?), etc one has to wonder if he was coerced... that's my only point.

LOL ignorant liberals, you dont know me do you :)
well private or not its national tv isnt it, I dont really care but somone got scared and sacked him.
(He cant be proven right eihter, or wrong when i first saying that)
I dont care  if it was private or not, wrong thing to do.
Seen that before and dont like it it was not called violations of private busniess when the czecks provided their opionion in diffrent wolrd and domestic news in 1968.
whatever beeing said here by me, I am a liberal in your eyes and nothing gonna change that.
Just the matter about what youre eyes wanna see or do not see.
