Torvald try setting your display resolution to match your desktop resolution, that usually gives the best performance in AH. Lower resolution may actually give you worse fps!
Secondly, upgrade your processor if your motherboard can handle it. PIII's come up to 1.1Ghz nowadays. That should be enough for AH.
