Anyone know Guitars? Need a Fair Price...
« on: April 02, 2003, 10:54:44 AM »
I'm selling this guitar, and I was wondreing if anyone knows what it's worth. I've got people asking me to end the auction early and to name my price. I bought the damn thing at a garage sale!

Now, this is NOT a solicitation for you guys to bid on it. It's just so you can see what I'm talking about. Let me know if my description is right, and what it's probably worth.

Thanks!

sorry bro.. I'm a Fender/Gibson kinda player and 'off' brands are a mystery to me.

if the neck is solidly joined to the body and is relatively straight.. decent hardware and electronics..
I'd bet you can get more for it.

prolly around 300.. just a guess.

like I said, I'm into more mainstream guitars but good luck!

That case is a beauty all in its self..

I have no idea howmuch it is worth..looks to be alot though..just let it keep going up and up and up :D...or stop the auction and get it apraised.. But not by a music shop that is insterested in buying it.. My dad has an acustic electric guitar good condition..they apraised it for $90 my dad said no :-p....

It's a budget instrument, made no earlier than the mid 70's (depending on the serial/model number) but probably more recent, and was manufactured in either Japan or Korea (serial number will tell which).

Prolly not gonna get much more than asked.

It's not like I'm lying or anything.

Of course it's not a Les Paul. It's up to $255.00 in the first 12 hours of bidding.

You would drop dead if you knew what I paid for this at the garage sale.

I wouldn't worry about it.. if the buyer is happy with it then voila.. everyone is happy.

someone will probably be very happy with it.
my first guitar was a gibson wannabe too ;)

I work with the guy who runs Fender (on a board together). Cool facility, and a lot is still hand made.

It looks like regular quality product. Go in local guitarshop and check out similar looking guitars. Im not pro on this stuff, but i would put the price with the casing to 400$.

After seeing what they go through to attach the neck to the body, this makes sense to me. I will feel it out though. Never hurts to ask.
