I PRAY that this would happen..... screw the UN.

I hope so, the UN has proven not to be worth much at all. To be quite honest, I wish that the US would absolve relations with more than a few of the current members

I don't see it happening, but if it did I would be very happy.

The main fear I have is the wrath of Kofi Annan. I wonder what Kofi Annan would be doing if the US left the UN? Maybe Kofi would threaten the US with "severe consequences"............ I'm afraid.

I would'nt mind what the UN does as long as the US is not involved with them at all.......... eat your hearts out, do what you wish, fund what you will and leave us out of it.

No No No. The UN must stay in New York and the USA as it shows all the other insignificant countries (most of them, especially France) who the real boss is. However the USA must work hard to weaken the UN as much as possible by acting on our own and forging strong military and economic ties to likeminded or friendly countries with respect to the relevant US regional interests.
