You can think what you want, but you're wrong. Like I said, you appear to underestimate the Kittyhawk.

At low levels, the P-40E will out-climb the Tony by a useful margin, and will turn roughly as well (they're close enough that initial advantage, pilot skill, and fuel load will decide it). The Tony is faster, but not so much faster that a higher P-40E can't force it to engage. They have roughly equal firepower, durability, and range.
The Tony IS likely the better plane, but it's not that much better, at least not until you get over about 12,000 feet (which is not all that common in the CT). If I'm in a P-40E, I consider a co-alt Tony to be an even match.
In comparison, in the F4F vs A6M2 matchup, this is a much less interesting fight because the Wildcats will typically refuse to turn-fight and will instead simply BnZ the Zekes. The Zero is IMO considerably inferior to the F4F.
Perhaps you're just unwilling to create a setup where the Japanese side actually has a slightly better plane than their US counterparts?
