Never used a gameport to USB adapter.  Not sure what the software would have to do to make it work.  I should think it would just be reconized like normal, but that may not be the case.

If you are not getting any spikes in the calibration, then I am more inclined to lean to damping being needed to be set higher.  It could also be interrupts being shared by the sound card/gameport.

OK. When  trying the adapter it is not auto recognized by XP. Damping won`t cut it, I`ve tryed every imaginable setting.
Gameport I/O range =DC70 - DC77  SB Live I/O range DC40 - DC5F   IRO 18.
The technical term may be SOL. :D
As I stated before setting the second controller up in Windows as either CH Flightstick Pro or CH Pedals is the only way I have found to stabilize it`s appearance in setup for Windows and AH. At one time you said to get rid of The CH software. I asked what you suggested setting the second controller up as. I`m still open to any suggestions. I have tryed many combos setting it up as a generic controller with no luck.

Do not use the CH software to setup any mapping for the stick.

What you do is go into AH's Joystick selection and set each axis/mapping manually.

For example
1)  Select the Joystick
2)  Select the roll from the left control
3)  Select the X-Axis from the right mapping
4)  Press "Set Input".

Do the above for each axis/control/joystick.

My stick is fine Skuzz, it`s the rudder pedals that have the prob.
Once again.....:D  I`m using USB Saitek X45 stick, no probs there. The rudder pedals are gameport CH Pedals set up as a second controller.

That was an example.  You have to do that for every axis of all the input devices.   Have you already done that?

I've heard a grip that XP is the problem.  That it doesn't handle controllers like previous versions.  Also heard any fix has to be done through XP?

One other possible option?  Saw a new(?) game card at CH Products some time back.  May have been for 98se n such.
