This yoyo actually had the gall to state that internment of Japanese-Americans during WWII made sense. If that isn't scary enough, he heads the homeland security committee.

there was no sabotage on the west coast while the japanese/americans were in the camps, right or wrong it worked.

BTW some germans and italians on the east coast were put into camps during WW2.

Nobody was ever interned merely for being a Japanese-American. I know you will knee-jerk automatically disagree with this statement, but it is true.

Right... over 120,000 interned on the West Coast were all sympathetic to the Japanese cause... including the women, children, and elderly. All obviously threats to the security of the U.S.

The internment probably wasnt the best idea, but it was Japanese businessmen living in the U.S. who sold the Japanese the plans for the DC3.

...but over 120,000 were interned simply because they were Japanese. Of those, 70% were U.S. citizens.
