That last nutcase didn't enjoy the misfortune of twelve years of sanctions and no fly zones. He was relatively free to do what he wanted. He also wasn't a power mad dictator that would do anything to remain in control of his country.

Not even the same thing.

Misfortune?   Interesting choice of words... Poor Saddam, GHWB and Clinton and then GWB bad bad...

Yes nothing half way accross the world ever cost americans anything...

WW1
WW2
Korea
Vietnam
Gulf War I
911
Gulf War II

No no trouble at all...

And yes all of those are different, just different enough for you to make an bellybutton of yourself justifying your stupid staement that leaders on the other side of the planet dont affect americans.

So when I point out 7 different cases where nutcase/dictatorial leaders have seriously influenced the USA and cause US deaths you sipmly pretend you did not see them?

Sad...

And this justifies the internment of U.S. citizens?

Was that the point?

Did I ever try to justify the internment? Nope, your imagination is working real hard. I just pointed out that a majorirt of Japanese Americans were never interned.

Or are you talking about the imaginary internmrent of arabs you want to see so bad right now?

Admit it Sandman nothing would make your day like the USa interning arabs now, you would love it - you and yours could whine about for the next 200 years whenever the USa went yto war..

The majority of Japanese citizens in this country were not sent to internment camps.

Why does this matter? Does it make it any less wrong for the 120,000 that did go? Does it make our government less culpable?

You brought it up. What difference does it make?

I was never arguing whether it was justified or not so your question is pointless...

Yes my statement was not central to the discussion about whther internment was justfied, it was just a tangent that developed into something else alltogther.  I did point out several times that I wasnt trying to argue or justfiy internment...
