This might explain when I look at my score in the tower it shows far more kills and assists than I remember actually seeing.

Occasionally....P-51's in my view with no apparent damage suddenly start spewing flames out the engine.  Usually lasts only a few seconds then it's gone.

Amon, not to play the wise guy, but it happened to me too. It's when u are set on fire, not visible damages to the "damage menu", but because you are on fire, u blow upa bit later. (Like everyone who's on fire).
Happens a lot when the Flak hits you.
