Something else is going on... and I think part of it is the new FM/joystick feel. Making small adjustments to the flight path near the center of the stick produces a diffrent 'bobble' than the original 'bobble'.
Yah, I know; that sounds whacked, but assuming that 'gunnery did not change' and since we're not talking about deflection/icon issues, but rather normal tracking shots from within normal lethal ranges, I've seen my giunnery go from .1300 to .0750 or so... dammit; I can't hit squat suddenly!!! So something changed! Snap shots are useless concepts.. the planes whip thru the bullet stream so quick I've had NO sprites on shots that used to kill.
It's time to re-learn how to point and shoot these damn guns with this new FM!
Further.. dunno what's causing this but with this rev I'm seeing a whole bunch more warping close in.. I saddle up tight; squeeze off a shot; and WALLAH.. damn thing has warped 15 degrees around the circle...
I'm shootin into his ghost. That REALLY sucks.
Whats remarkable is that in 4 days I have not had one engagement in close where warping was NOT present! And; folks THAT also porks gunnery BIGTIME, and genreally reduces my warm fuzzies about the new FM's.. I mean; gee whiz, it flies nice; but fer crissakes I can't hit nothin cause the damn con's are warping and the damn FM bobbles around the center of the JS.. humph.

Seems to me when we have more tha about 100 bodies on the server; the close in warping becomes REALLY bad. Time for that HA yet HT?
