just click on the DOWNLOADS on the left hand side

move dn till you see the NO CD PATCH << DL it

open il-2 FB folder find the rts.dll file reome it ( save some where if you want) and place the new DL file in its place ..

Remove cd ..start IL_2 FB and it should start without the cd.

While it works I found that IL2FB loads much more slowly. What's your experience?

Load time is about the same for me Iron.

That's really odd. Seems I saved the original files, may put 'em back in and compare again.
