Fellow AH'ers,
If you would like to support our troops fighting overseas there are many good ways to do it. These Men and Women are OUR troops and fighting so that we can be safe at home. They deserve the BEST we can do for them.

Check out this site for many good ideas.

What do you find objectionable about that cover? It clearly says Saddam's last stand in big letters I can read even in that tiny picture.

I wish the government would support the troops also...
aparently, while America was busy watching the war on CNN, they cut Vet Bennefits by like 40% ..

Guys, this thread is about supporting our troops fighting at the moment. Please move this stuff about TIME magazine over to another thread.

Also, Wlfgang agree the Government has always shamefully shafted Veterans who fought for their country but this is not the time or thread for it.

I was complaining about that to my friend that works for the VA. For what it's worth, he sat down and explained how the VA is tied into, funds, and is funded by so many other organizations. He said the VA actually got a 7.8% INCREASE when all is said and done.

I'll try to find some info on it, or ask him if there is any online documentation.
