We Shouldn't have torn down Saddam's statue

It was very wrong of us to tear down Saddam's statue today. The United States should respect other cultures sensitivities and not be so arrogant in my opinion.

Hey, laugh at me if you want but I feel that we are only making the Arab street upset for no reason. We pretty much have won the war an we don't need to inflame the Arabs and gloat.

We should have respected certain things and we havent

ok.. 'certain things' ?? like the troops on bended knee with reveresed weapons in the streets of najaf.. in front of the mosque? That was one brave smart major with those troops, lemme tell yah.

like the shiite fatwah stating to all arabs that coalition forces have not put one bullet into any mosque in southern iraq?

like making it plain and apparent in every situation possible in a communications form that trancends language.. "we are not attacking your religion, we are removing your dictator."

we're assisting THEM in their efforts to rid the land of it's scourage.. images of their hated and despised tormenter.

You're serious? Did you watch the actual pulling down of the statue?

Damn, that looks like a teble hook too. That's gotta hurt, and I bet it leaves a mark, too.

I took a nibble at it, but I just couldn't get past the smell of the bait. Might have been hard for the hook to get through the scar tissue anyway.

what got Nuke the win was talking in Stuart Smalley style New age-sharing-psychobabble style; thats red meat to any normal center-right American male, almost as good as that Michael Jackson icon that Froggy sports.  I award Nuke 1 if not 2 ears.  Viva!
