Or Fire in a theatre.

Seriously, though. Although I respect the house rules Skuzzy, RC was just making a joke. There has been some serious cracks made about the USA by alot of foreigners on this board and I don't see them getting a warning.

I mean, just look at half the tripe some of these Russians have been posting about the AMERICAN PEOPLE, and her soldiers.

I'm sure I missed something here, Skuzzy, as I know your very even handed, and have a high tolerance.

I just thought it was a good natured joke. Creative, funny, and not that vicious.

Someone make up a travel advisory for the USA.  I'll laugh at that too.

Do we really have to go the "Politically Correct" root here too? I really hope not.

Muck,..he started a thread with that post, then posted that post in here twice.  I was just talking about the spamming of the post.

My follow on was just concern that people, regardless of the nation, are lumping what politicians do/say and proclaiming a whole civilization is lousy.
NOTE:  I did not say anything about any specific country, as I do mean for it to be applied to all.

How reliable is that paper?

Here in the States, I think the Sun is like the Enquirer, and the Weekly World News. I don't think it's the same "Sun", which is why I asked.

Skuzzy, I figured I missed something, which is why I asked. Thanks for the Clarification.

Firstly this is a report in The Sun. Yes, the paper that proudly markets itself to the lowest common denominator and has been on so many band-wagons it hasn't had its feet on terra firma for years.

The only good thing is page 3, and that's not really good value, because you can buy the Sport which has much more tits and not quite as much bollocks in it.

Secondly, Britain is hardly an idyl of tolerance, peace and open mindedness. I feel far safer in a Zaragoza night-club or at any time of night than I do in Hillsborough high street at 2am. Random acts of violence for nothing at all are frequent - only last month a guy was beaten half to death outside a pub I go to for apparently looking at a guy the wrong way. Fractured pelvis, fractured skull and ruptured spleen. I've stopped drinking around there - it's simply ridiculous.

Then there are the BNP sponsored attacks on ethnic minorities, assylum seekers and the like.

People joke about the French, sure. But that's about it. France isn't my enemy. The people who commit wanton acts of racist violence are my enemy, and we should construct a large catapult on the cliffs of Dover to cast them into the sea with. They go around talking about how British they are and how every one else simply doesn't measure up to there inflated sense of self-worth. They aren't my countrymen.
