Idiots (knights)

This evening (GMT-1) our squad and some other knights were practicing fighter sweeps over A26 area. We were tieing down some 6-8 Rooks and guarding the south flank against Lancaster raids.

In STAGA's opinion all Knights fighting there were idiots and many times we had to read silly jokes in the buffer about it. Well, 45 Knights were online and only 6-8 Knights were playing in the A26 area. Our Squad was soon splitted between A26 area and HQ area. Bad words and jokes again. I had to stop some of the our hottest squad mates from posting harsch replies ...

Well, STAGA, there are days for buffing, days for Gooning, days for Capping, Sweeping and days for "freje jagd". This is a GAME. So please stop insulting people not following you and your plans. In the past months our squad had spent whole hours defending, attacking and sweeping HOT areas, only to help the Knight land.

Heya Gatt.

We are still trying to get back fields we lost because we didn't got enough players to kick bishes back to their own land.
Me and some other players tryed to defence our Northern fields agains bishes but we lost 3-4 fields in a row. We asked help but didn't got any. Bishes took fields which were next to our City, HQ and refinery and you guys still stayed at 26. That really was a teamplay wasn't it ?
What's next?
They killed our city to 0% and after that our HQ. 2 hours without Dar when you could easily stop them before they conquered our A-and V-fields.


No wonder you lost war....

Just checked and didn't see you in the roster.
Because those Southern guys lack of interest the rest of Knights suffers because they haven't got a radar in two hour.
Why did you left when dar went to pieces ?
why didnt you stay to help ?

Nobody has ever won anything relying on defense.  Its offence that wins.  Imagine saying this "I am going to defend A1 and that will cause V56 to be ours".  Sounds silly doesnt it?  Its the guys that attack that make a differance.  Put the other guys on defense, and they cant attack you.  I dont mind defending, sometimes I do it for the fun of it, or to frustrate  enemy, but its offense that accomplishes something.

Only thing worse than staying on defense all the time, is insisting that others do the same.

I'm not gonna order ya Italian dudes to do anything, I respect ya too much for that.

But it could be wise to attack up north, and therefore bring relief to bases, instead of insisting on 26.

Tbe point isn't "What strategy is best for the war".  As far as that goes, Dago's right: offense wins the war.  Add, I'd add, 3 simultaneous, low-profile (read low numbers) attacks work better than a running battle between two fields.
The point is, somedays you wake up feeling like taking fields.  Other days, you just wanna be a fighter puke.  And if you've got an itch to fly Italian planes, the ones in AH have limited range and no ordnance options, so that usually means flying in ways that aren't what seems strategically important.
Again, it's a big sandbox folks.  Let's all have fun and keep the cats out.

Jesus, guys - all the squeaking about people not flying the way you think is how it should be played is crap. Who made anyone CM in the main arena? Uh, nobody.

squeaking people out is no way to win respect. If anyone who thinks they are strat kings of the world wants to prove it, start putting missions together and build a following.

Seen how many people follow Zigrat's missions? He is in effect dictating country strat but he isn't doing it by berating fellow countrymen.

So you don't like how the war is going? Build a good mission, make it successful, and keep doing it. Eventually you will be respected for it and people will listen.

But in an arena where there are no orders and no brig for not following, giving orders and bashing people for not following just makes you look stupid and immature.

And it is their $30. If you don't like how they fly or organize their squads, well, that is something you will have to get over.

That is very true.

The best deffense if a good offense.

But it helps if the offense is run against those we need to defend against.  In this case, the bishites.

One reason I may neglect what is going on elsewhere and go back to the same field over and over again, is because of the enemy that is there. Cobra may be there. Vati may be there. Or hangtime, or torque, or the toadster, or RAFBADER, or hblair, or some of the Flying Pigs, the Musketeers, the AKs.

They'll shoot me down a few time, I shoot them down once in a while.  The point is, it becomes like our little game.  No major objective, just fun dogfighting!!

They expect you to come back and you expect for them to be there.

I also love to get with my squad, have an objective, and attempt to accomplish it.  Some nights I just defend fields with ground vehicles.  Times I will just take a A8 or G-10 up high and buff hunt!  Depends on what gaming mood I am in!    

It's all good!!  And it will always be here!!

I try to go where I'm needed. Usually when a slugfest with tons of knights is involved, I leave on two missions, since it gets tedious to just wait for one enemy to show up and then along with 10 other guys hut him down.

Gotta fix those flak pansies though.

Welp, I ain't no nit, but the fastest way to keep me from helping defend somewhere is to start screaming about how everyone's an idiot for not defending there.  Heck, I'll take off the opposite side of the map just to see how bad you'll lose it.

LOL STAGA get a real life. Get a work, get even a woman and you'll understand that sometimes AH is a game. I'm sorry, but after some CAP in the HQ area I had to left. I have a real life out there. Your sentences says it all about you and your mind. Better you learn to show some respect for other playing people. Even if they are not addicted like you mein general. I'm sorry, I'm only a casual player.

And if you need me and other 4-5 guys to save the country (when you have other 40 Knights online) then, mein general, better you read some more books about strategic and tactic air-war.
