With a smile and a sigh of relief...
« on: April 12, 2003, 06:34:57 PM »
... I present this to all who asked about and sent their best wishes to usarmy... I received a couple of e-mails from him today...

Hey Dux,

I've been doing just fine, and haven't been near the fighting so far. The only real danger I face is when I land in the desert and brown out. YIKES!!! Tell all the gents in Aces High that I'm good, and that I hope to be home in time for the convention in August. But I think I have a better chance of winning the lottery! LOL

WOW!!!
Thanks so much for sending all those greetings from the guys. Flight time has been growing as of late. Hard to keep the birds in good order in this enviroment. I flew in 1/4 mile visibility from a blowing dust yesterday. As for Geraldo, he has been around our area on and off. Some of the guys have even gotten a picture with him.

Take Care, and God Bless,
usarmy

Probably no point in telling him the Con is in July, huh? :)

With a little luck maybe he can get home sooner? I hear some AC's maybe coming home soon.

Hey, I'm sure he wouldn't know who I am and has never seen my name, but just pass along that my thoughts are with him and I wish for him a speedy and safe return.  And I'm proud and actually a bit envious he is part of such a good and noble cause.

give him a for me.  I've ran into him in the arenas from time to time and he's always been a class act!
