POWS Released
« on: April 13, 2003, 10:37:42 AM »
We got 'em.. all 7. Seems the unit that was holding them had their officers desert.. the iraqi noncoms and regulars released them into the custody of advancing marines and surrendered themselves.

A good day in sandland.

A damn good day indeed. :)
The price of Freedom is the willingness to do sudden battle, anywhere, any time and with utter recklessness...

...at home, or abroad.

A glaring example of the difference between those running the show and those being told what to do.   to the Iraqi soldiers that knew the right thing to do.

Am damn glad those troops are back.

I think there are six more who are missing and could very well be POW.  It's just that, they were never put on t.v. like the 7 found today and so their status is uncertain.

Very good news about the seven.
