This isn't for everyone, but I'll leave it up to you to figure out who you are.
Why is it when someone dessents to an opinion that is counter to yours, you tend label them as anti-American? Notice that they actually haven't said they were anti-America. They haven't posted that they were anti-American people.
Yet the hate I see posting against other countries are acceptable to you? You can taunt whole peoples (like the French for example) because you disagree with their leader's policies? Just doesn't make sense to me that one gets bent out of shape because they perceive a dissenting opinion as hateful (it's not), but then will spew out real hateful remarks in response? I see too much of attacking the messenger and not enough of arguing the relative points. Bullying others with silly labels and threats is not the way adults should argue.
Do you really care about this sim? Do you care for its success? I do. It is becoming clear that if we keep bashing whole peoples, that we may lose their business. You'll note that an awesome individual and player (frenchy) left. I wonder if he just got tired of his heritage being attacked all the time.
This sim (as any game) is supposed to be fun. When the game ceases to be fun, people leave (yes, they take their money with them).
I have been to France and England (albeit it was just for a couple of too short weeks). You know what? I found the French people and the British people to be jusy like the people I know at home here in America. They were awesome and friendly. The French people when they knew I couldn't speak french, would try to help me in english. My wife and I had a memorial time which we'll remember for the rest of our lives. We hope to go back some day too.
Businesses need to show profits and grow to really make it. Bashing whole other peoples based on country of origin isn't helping the cause.

For those of you that think it's funny that an innocent civillian protestor gets killed while doing just that (nonviolent protesting), are sick. It's their fault that the soldier took aim and pulled the trigger? 200 yards (give or take) away? How would you feel if that was your son, daughter, mother, etc that gets killed like that? Good thing they probably won't ever view this BBS. In any book, you've got to understand that's not the decent thing to do. To mock another's death as if they somehow "deserved" it. Sad, really.

For those of you that don't, by all means just continue flaming away. Just don't be surprised if this membership starts to shrink (along with the money and profits).
