Do you know if they'll be selling the DVD of it?  I picked up the "Battlestations: P-51 Mustang" DVD for $25.  Its pretty cool but could use more gun camera footage. ;)

I like this channel, but there is way too much crap on it.

If I see one more Soloflex commercial...I might buy one!

I don't care for many of the Shows.

"A plane is Born"
"Dawn of flight"

Give me all the WWII and Modern combat aircraft shows and I'm a happy camper.

We all know about the Wright Brothers already! Enough!!

Soloflex machines aren't worth the money. You're better off with dumbells and a $50 weight bench.  Then, you can do bicep curls everytime a Soloflex commercial comes on and be in shape for football season!

The whole reason I got DishNetwork was to watch Discovery Wings. Now Discovery Civilization is Discovery/New York Times. They have some very interesting stuff on Iraq and Middle Eastern hatred of the US.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

They had a set of three shows on the Red Baron last night.  Some of it was pretty interesting, but other parts were in error (at least according to some books I have read about him).

Soloflex..er actually Bowflex rocks IMO.

funny thing is that it was my GF that bought it after being deluged on DW with commercials.
then I ended up using it.

and yeah, way too many crap shows and repeats on DW

Anyone got some IC to throw my way? I wanna start a cable network:
GC = the Guncamera Network.

Some programs for launch:

"The Whole Nine Yards"
"Carrier Landing" (with special episodes such as "Night Carrier LAnding", and "Carrier Landing in Vegas"-- the Tailhook episode.  Oh yeah, and a weekend-long "Bolter-a-thon")
"Test Flights" (episodes such as "wing over Huber Heights")
"Airshow Disaster!"

It's not a new serie, it was already on History Chanel 1 year ago. I wasn't too impressed by it. A bit too much of "glorification" for each of the aces they portrayed.
Dat jugs bro.

If I see "Wings of France" one more time I'm going to flip out and kick my TV.

They need more programming.

one bad thing about Wings Channel they rerun same three or four shows every 3-4 hours for the whole day it seems, at least during daytime
