The board is slow, check out Castle Keep on AMC. Interestingly strange WW2 flick.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

Nope. It's about a group of soldiers trying to hold the line in this Castle in Belgium.

BTW, Read the book sometime if you can find a copy. It was a very good read.

that's "The Keep" which, ironically, is also currently playing on TCM

Ok what was the point of this movie? A guy and a .50 CAl mowing down hordes of German Army. Reminded me of that lame movie where Nicolos Cage did the samething to the Japanese. Why did they want that castle?

It was set at the start of the Battle of the Bulge. The Americans really didn't give a **** about the Castle, but the Duke (or whatever he was) was trying to save his Family's Legacy.
