Was wondering what you guys think of these games. Are they worth buying?

battlefield 1942 is pretty fun dude. ive got roomates that dont like to play computer games but they like that game and play it all the time.

Yup BF1942 is fun.

Not realistic at all (just like WWIIO) but still fun(not like WWIIO).

FB is a blast. But I tell ya the gunnery is tuff to get used too!  I think I am a pretty decent shot in AH, but forget about that in FB:) But the immersion of FB is deep.

I think BF1942 is WAY over hyped.  If you can find a "used" copy for $15 then go for it, but IMO it is not worth the $40+ price tag.  And getting the "Best Game of the Year" awards is showing how some publishers give reviewers and edititors "perks" for good reviews....
