America was threatened by Iraq in no way, it was just plain ridiculous
Yeah, The US and Bush are war mongers because Iraq decided to invade Kuwait , failed to live up to it's cease-fire agreements and defied the world for 12 years. I guess 12 years is considered a mad rush to war.
I find it laughable that someone could call the USA war mongers, especially given the fact that we have been quite restrained in our actions following 911. After all, there are groups funded and supported by nations that have stated there INTENT TO DESTROY US. Wouldnt you call THEM the war mongers? No, not in your twisted world I guess.
If we are war mongers, what does that make terrorists and terrorist states that attacked us and cry "Death to America" Are they the good guys?
And when you say the US went against the will of the world community, you fail to see that 1441 was unanimously passed and it offered Iraq one last chance to disarm. That was the will of the community.
And by the way, It was France and Germany that deceived the world with their lies. They voted for 1441, then back-peddled when it appeared that the US was actually going to do something to enforce it.
The "world community" that the US went against was Russia, France and Germany. Big deal....... 3 loser countries more interested in their political clout than the saftey of the world.
The world community behind us and our actions is more extensive than the few hand-wringers playing it safe on the sidelines .
France and Germany both lost big by taking the stance they did. They would rather have let Iraq indefinetey defy the world. America finnally solved the problem and we did so in a descisive, brilliant fashion...... much to the horror of people like you.
What I really would like to know is this:
1. Do you think Iraq has finally been disarmed like the UN has demanded for more than 12 years? I think thats a yes. Problem SOLVED.
2. Is the side benifit of Iraqis being liberated a good thing? I'd say that's a yes.
Now tell me why either of those events are bad?
1. Iraq is finally disarmed
2. Iraqis liberated in the process.
Tell me that's bad!
