Lack of input by HTC people was to be expected after the announcement of AH2...At least it was by me. Sure some things need adjusting now in this version of AH but I would rather they get cracking on AH2 instead of piddling with this version and its issues. Maybe, just maybe HT and the gang will have the "bugs" people scream about in this version knocked down in AH2. At least that is my hope. So I don't call their "lack of input" a downer since they have announced that they were coming out with something new and to think that the last major update was 6-8 months ago means that maybe they have been working on AH2 since that update...Maybe, Hopefully!

the lack of input from the HTC people...

Get a clue!  Compared to brands X, Y and Z, these guys are annoyingly verbose.

I noticed this too, and think its too bad.   Is it overwhelming for them when the community reaches a certain size?   Or does success breed disdain?    I kind of wonder if AH may have reached its high water mark.    Maybe that's just the way these things go?

Not sure about AW, but it's pretty clear to me that lack of development maimed WBs when AH became a viable alternatve (along with flat pricing).     Plus the transition from WB 2.77 to WBIII has not been smooth - its seems to have fractured the community.  Hope AH to AH2 can handle it better.

I haven't really noticed a change. I suspect they are pulling out all the stops on AH2 and will reveal more when they feel the project is at a sufficiently advanced stage. They couldn't release information (screenshorts) early, considering the dissapointment it might engender if any changes were made at a later date.

Personally, Guadacanal will probably mark a break from AH for me until the autumn and the advent of AH2. I haven't played AH in a couple of months.
