Has it been concidered to have aircraft damage repaired on the refueling pad. Depending on how bad A/C is damaged it would tell you how long you have to stay on the pad.

1 min for light damage, 2 min moderate damage. 5 min severe damage
Or 2 min for each repair.

I don't know just thought I would throw that out there.

this has been brought up several times and has always been shot down, think the main thing is that replacing something like an aileron takes hours, so it would be a little silly considering that there is a brand new plane waiting for you in the tower, and pulling into the hanger for repairs has already been suggested

This has been brought up before but instead of a time limit for 'xyz' to be repaired it would cost perk point. I think it's a great idea but don't know if HTC has taken it seriously.

I think it's a fine idea. Sure it'd take awhile to replace damaged parts, but come on--it's not like you could re-fuel and re-arm these planes in 30 seconds either. It'd give yet another use for perk points and wouldn't harm anybody.

Couldn't we just have little inflight "power up" ballons that repair the damage? They could hang about the countryside like little barrage balloons. You'd have to fly right into it to get the repairs and it would cost you those awesome perk point things.

If you were out of perks, you could fly through but nothing would happen.

We could make them country specific too, so if you flew through an enemy barrage balloon you'd explode.

Man, we could put some cool stuff in with this concept!

We could have "repair" ballons, "medic" balloons for pilot wounds, "ammo" balloons, "ordnance" balloons... the possibilities are almost endless.

Of course, we could have GV tents too that do the same things. And maybe even "tune up" tents that let GV's roll down hills at say... 250 miles an hour instead of just 100.......

I think its a good idea also.

Another use for PERK points.

And yes it takes awhile to do this in RL but in RL GVs would not rearm and repair damage right in the middle of a ground battle ethier but they do in game.
Drop supplies off to a panzer with a damaged turret/main gun and as soon as he picks them up all damage is repaired and all ammo is replenished all at the same time he in the middle of a fight.

Why not have nearly the same option for planes by allowing them to HOT PAD and rearm and repair.

Heres a better idea- Keep the kill streak going until your pilot actually is killed. Thats more realistic anyhow.

some planes were easier to repair IRL than others ....

the 109 for example could have a new engine dropped in in 15 min. thats how they designed the mount.

so why not let planes have oil / radiator damage fixed

You forgot the Quad Damage and the Pentagram Shield.

ROFLMAO realistic my arse...pilots would leave the combat and head home with damage that in this game we would consider minor...rather than a repair plane thing why not make it so we can switch planes keep our kill streak going then come back for our old plane when repairs are done (seems like a good idea for ah2...no?)

Vorticon I meant keep the streak going no matter whether you switched planes or not. Similar to the 'Flying Circus' streak system.

I think the time factor is irrelevant........and aileron change could be done in an hour r/l...maybe (depends on plane of course)

fuel leaks...easy quick fix...hour tops. (temporary repair)

oil leak....yikes! that would take a bit longer, eh?

thing is......quick repairs were done, fix 'em and send back up. Makes more sense to me than GV repairs in the middle of no where.
