The Shootout

I was the single last person to make the shootout.  Anyone familiar with my flying/gunnery already understands that I have no business participating in the event.

Therefore, I took the liberty of talking to Drex (a 20 minute drive) and he agreed to take my place under the following proviso:  Any proceeds ($500) from the event will be donated to those with self-inflicted wounds during the recent Shiite pilgrimage to Karbala.

I tried to convince Drex the money should go to the retirement fund for French government officials, but the boy had the bit in his teeth and refused to be denied.

p.s.  Anyone want to make a side bet on who wins the shootout? :D

Curly   Shoot out is being done wrong, but hey its thier money. If you were just going to have furball for shootout then why have bombing ,attack and gv count to get u in?




 But I'll guess I'll ram fester and fraiz first let someone else win.............

In a way I kinda agree with Rod here. There are a lot of peeps (note to unwashed masses-this would not include me :) ) that are awsome fighters but don't GV or run bombers or pt boats, so a furball for the top fighters would make more sense, top 10 in fighter category for 3-4 monthes, for a prize of 1 month off paying subscription credit maybe?
But also have for the other categories, top 10 gv's - a free for all tank battle :)
For bombers a bomb run contest or something :)
PT boaters to take winners skiing

maybe HT will do something like this in the future if the popularity of the contest idea remains strong

Cant make the shootout since i had to cancel my account a few weeks after qualifying :(

Come to think of it, you're probably right. But I doubt HTC is going to model a flyable AK anytime soon.
