anyone out there into remote cameras and surveillance hardware/software?
I could use a little help from someone that's been in the field a while and can cut through the sales crap...
remote monitoring, simple system, dvr with automated software

thanks, but
I kind of need more serious equip.. remote cameras that pan/zoom, DVR, net software that let's us configure for different times of the season, etc and definately NOT wireless.. we need security and don't want to broadcast this stuff

Hmmm, We use Sonitrol in our stores. We can pull up any of the stores main systems and view from our Corporate office by modem. Not sure what you want to cover, might not want to use a commercial set-up.

commercial is good.. it's off-season security of parking garages, loading docks, ski lifts, etc
