A bit of history about the 501st: The No. 501 Squadron was a Hurricane squadron that ws formed at Filton on 14 June 1929. On the outbreak of World War Two, the squadron flew defensive patrols unti lthe German attack on Fance in May 1940, when it moved across the Channel to provide fighter cover for the AASF, retiring to Brittany & returning to the UK when France surrendered. No. 501 was based in southern England throughout the Battle of Britain.
The squad's badge is a boar's head couped. The boar's head is taken from the Arms of Gloucester; the animal is also noted for it's courage. The squad motto is nil time meaning the enemy as "no time" or its time is up.

We are a new squad. One goal is to build the squad around the "strategic elements" of aces high. That is to knowingly & effeciently help our country, Bishops, to win the war. To assist in whatever way possible to gain a reset is the reason for our existence.
