How much ord for a vehicle hangar?

I though it took 2k worth of bombs to kill a vehicle hangar, but I can consitantly down a verhicle hangar at a vehicle base with 8 100lb bombs when flying at low alt (3-5k).  At first I though the hanger must have been weakened by someone else, but I've done this 4 times now.

So does it only take 800lbs of ord, have I just run into weakened hangars 4 times in a row, or am I just high on crack again?

Also, all 4 times have occured after I dropped 1-100lb bomb on each of the acks...don't know if the blast radius would reach the hangar or not?

Usually, you will need the following bombs to destroy Hangars.

Air Field:

Bomber Hangar (Large) = 3000lbs (1000lbs*3)
Fighter Hangar (Small) = 3000lbs
Vehicle Hangar = 3000lbs

All units won't be able to roll in 30 minutes.

Vehicle Depot:

#1 Vehicle Hangar = 500lbs (M16/M3 won't be up)
#2 Vehicle Hangar = 1500lbs (any vehicles won't be up in 15 minutes.)

By the way, I have one good figure for you.  
Point is "Cross the center of the hangar to kill it".

Regardless of SOB lying that he can take down ANYTHING, his mindless post does inadvertently make a good point. Many of these questions could be answered by a guide or manual of sorts. So, I ask:

"Where IS the real User's Guide for AH?"

(Rip, put down the can of "keylube" and relax your fingers, think of another brilliant Macboy post. We all know you want to fire in right away in support of HTC and tell us there is a "online User's Guide", I know, ...take it easy there pardner, hear me out.  

If ya can't take a User Guide to the toejamter, it aint a guide, period.

Shouldn't one be done already? I'm in for $100+ already, and most my $40 sim titles came with a user guide, keyboard diagrams, and alot of documents and such.

Ya no toejam , damn that makes me mad !!!

Someone told me 250 for ack , we been using that for 3+ months now . Plus wondering why in hell the loving vhangers at airfields didn't go down like vbases , dah using 1500 lbs not 3000lbs . We thought we was missing even though we could see the hits in center of target clearly !!!!

IMO AH should have (or do they? )full list what it takes to destroy everything in game , including cites and HQ etc. on their web site .

I hope they listen , cause this is one reason new players get pissed off and leave

A square hit with 2k ord always works for me on VH.  Every time.  Miss a little and its a different story.  That's why I always bring a plane with plenty of ammo.

Thanks Mitsu, I have had problems killing the VH at higher alts in one pass when at an Airfield, I'll give that a try.  BTW...what's the url to your explosion sounds...re-installed things and forgot to save those!

Creamo, it wasn't a delusion, at least I don't think it was a delusion, where am I?  As far as a manual goes, that'd be nice, but even with a manual, you'll still suck!       <S!>

The problem is, getting Cave into that cockpit, they don't make canopies for heads that big!  

BTW... 1 F4U-1C with 2x500 lbers, no rockets = flattened Vbase ready for  goon too. =>

I had that new bubble canopy installed rip, no problems now, I can even turn me head around to see what's behind me
