backing up DVD's

I just got a Hewlett Packard 300I DVD burner at officemax for $150  and was wondering if anyone had a good step by step FAQ as to how I can backup my existing DVD collection.

Here ya go: [list=1]
  • Go to blockbuster and pick up DvD for your collection
  • Insert it into computer and run copy program
  • Test copy in your DvD player
  • Give a copy to a friend to test in his DvD player
  • If both copies work, return DvD to blockbuster
  • Get new DvD from blockbuster for your collection
Hope that helps.
