Well, it's true.

Add  a Spitfire, a N1K, and all their chutes, and it's like a drug

That's the proper attitude.  If you don't like them, kill them repeatedly.  I was all lathered up about Ostwinds the other day.  So I found a field where they were being used and I vulched the spawn point with great fervor.  Got THAT out of my system.

Last tour I got all grouchy about Mustangs climbing and running.  So I used a Typhoon for a few days and ran them down repeatedly.  I didn't care if I died or not - if I saw a Mustang, he was going to die.  Got it out of my system.

I think Funked made it to kill number 43 before I finally bombed the hangar they were spawing from.

Sure! Me against the four of you.  Granted to keep things fair all of you must retain the under slung ordinance show in that picture at all times

Last two nights I have been online I decided to have fun for myself by flagging all F4U's as the highest threat. I tried the 38, the 205 and the P-47 as my weapons of choice.  It was with my true love, the P-47-D30, that I found my "Excalibre".   ....or the 205 if the fighting is low and slow.

"Westy has 6 kills and has been killed 1 time in the P-47-D30 against the F4U-1C"

I love watching an F4U "POP"  from eight .50's or spin in from missing tails or stabilizers      It's been fun   )
