I just hope the new version will be able to keep up.  Really, beyond the ship thing, the games backbone kicks arse.

Its just that the graphics are getting old (not so much the planes, but the effects).

I would love to see immersive smoke and explosions, plus a really high quality landscape with at least the level of detail that wwiionline has.  That really adds to the low (common) dogfights.  I hope they are planning on this.  



I want to strafe sheep, and see them hurt.  I really just want to hurt the sheep.  I want sheep to explode when I rocket them.  I want the flock to scatter as I buzz the farm.  I want the sheep to feel my pain.

you guys are giving the damage model to planes and gv's way too high marks - after seeing what they did to Il-2 and it's damage model - AH has been the same for WAY TOO LONG. - there are only 15-20 hardpoints on each plane and absolutely no randomized failures/jams

It needs a major overhaul

Overall - methinks AH is the best sim - 8 out of 10
fix the DM and its an easy 10

Can't break it down, it's a 9 out of 10.

It's so good people run their life around it, get all emotional, and for that it's a 10 as far as software development goes. I still find that aspect of it amazing.

It loses 2 points for being behind the latest graphics curve and HTC admits it lacks various features because of system requirments and download conciderations. And the cockpits of course. But they gain 1 point back for a BBS that is fun in itself, and doesn't have those horrible, insanely annoying squad graphics like Il-2.

Other than that, this is the best game I've played, period. When I get bored and all knowing how HTC should run their company, I now just play other games, do real life stuff, pay my $14.95, and am happy I didn't quit and log in for great fun.

Un trait sur le compte-tour a 5500t/mn et un deuxiéme trait sur le compteur de vitesses a 240km/h c'est ma philosophie  :)

Domage que ma Clio de 1991 ne veuille pas dépasser le 130 ;)

ROFL! J'avais compris que toutes les voitures fabriqués depuis les années 80 veuillent dépasser 160...

Alors, ma VW - le moteur a puissance de 204bhp. (bhp = chevaux à frein - comment à dire en français?) - je veut dire le Golf, pas le beetle d'orange - LOL - vitesse maximale = 110kmh, avec vent en arrière!!!

BHP : on dit tout simplement chevaux
On disait "cheval vapeur" mais on a abandonné la vapeur il ya longtemp du coup on ne le dit plus ;)


En fait je préserve ma vieille Clio un peu en attendant ma future voiture sinon je vais devoir faire 35 km de vélo pour aller au travail (je suis pas courageux à ce point).
Je pense la changer pour une passat ça va être noël avant l'heure :)


J'ai un copain qui avait une cox (diminutif de coccinelle ,une beetle pour toi) j'ai jamais supporté l'effet propulsion  (*) je prefere les traction avant.
Et sur la cox j'ai jamais su si le moteur était refroidit a l'air ou a l'huille vu comment il est gras en pisseux apres 200 km :p.

(*) surtout sur neige :)

le cox est refroidit par l'air, mais l'huile est aussi importante pour refroidir. Pour cette raison, il faut remplacer l'huile souvent - environ 2500km.

Les tractions avant? Encore meilleur, la système 4x4, comme ma golf. Donc, elle s'appelle (en anglais) "4 motion".

Ah! maintenant, J'ai compris. :) Mon cox moteur est toujours propre!

Non, hélas pas le R32. Peut être que le R32 sera la prochaine. :)
