From another thread, somoene mentioned that certain dates and events in human history would be worthy of "international holidays".
Which events would you think qualify?

- First human in Space (USSR)
- First human on the Moon/other world (USA)
- First human in flight (USA)
- Declaration of Human Rights (FRANCE)
- First Written Law (Iraq)
Ironic that the list of really important events in human history come from the nations currently going through political armwrestling no?
