Poorfishy

I wonder how much they spent on this research...and why?

And who were the sadists who came up with the idea?

Can't eat anything with a face.
Now, fish have feelings, and soybean probably feel pain.  So, what's left to eat.

I know, we can live off Knits and Bish!

I've got something that'll stop all the pain.  Poor little fishies.  :(

Soon they'll forget all about that hook in their lip!  :D

lol SOB.

My point in this post is that "OF COURSE" fish feel pain...so what?  The animal activists are undoubtedly the ones who sponsored this "study" in which they get scientists to inject acid and bee venom into the lips of the fish....all to prove how cruel fishing is?

One can only shake one's head at such logic.

Animals are tasty, and it's fun to kill them.  The treehuggers need to get over it.

how about there near death experience stories after a catch-and-release episode.

"I was being pulled to this bright light, suddenly all water was gone, I couldn't breath,  I was IN THE BOAT MAN!"

no doubt.. which is more cruel..
catch and release causes so much trauma that the fish have to live with the rest of their lives!!! cripes.. how cruel

now, imagine.. just catch and kill.. trauma over quicker (shock then death.. very quick), no long lasting effects on the poor widdle fishies mind

Seems it was less silly when all they had to say was "We know it hurts them because they told us."

I think the message here is that anglers shouldn't coat their hooks with bee venom. I can go along with this.
