The reporters come to a hush and all cameras point to the microphones in the center of the stage. A very worn out Rocket comes from out of the left wing and walks up to the microphones. <camera shutters click> Rocket pulls out a crumpled piece of paper and clears his throat.<microphone feedback><tap tap tap>
To all my good friends and enemies in AH,
It is with a heavy heart that I write this post. In the past month my car blew up and my roof started leaking badly. So I have to give up my addiction to Aces High for a few months. I will still by flying in H2H and on the Ladder, but I will be unable to fly in the arenas.
I will miss the action and the fights for sure. The community here is the best and I hope it grows tighter as it grows stronger.
The upside to this is I should be able to get some more help pages up on the Red Dragons site for Aces High. Redwing has been buggin me for more stuff and I had it on the back burner. I will still be here reading posts daily.
If ya need a target drone just look me up in H2H
So to those who have endlessly shot me down and to those that have wandered across my gunsight occasionally I give you all the biggest <SALUTE> that I can and hope to be back amongst the arena pilots as soon as I feasably can!
<SALUTE!>
Rocket hangs his head and slowly walks off the stage leaving the crowd of reporters to stare at his tattered and beaten F4U-1D as they try to yell questions.
