It's ok, AWMac, Badger has put his foot in his mouth a few times in this forum before, too. ;)

Then again, haven't we all at one time or another! :D

For Ghost Recon, TG vs. a normal server is like the difference between the MA and scenarios.  The SOPs make it so anybody can "plug in" to a team and have the kind of mutuality that we have with squaddies in AH.  There is a focus on leadership skills and good comms discipline which results in a very immersive experience and a lot of dead tangos.  I am completely addicted to TG right now.

im still having a tough time with the difference in vision and hearing in the game as compared to real life. i dont like ghost recon because you are channeled into a fight almost every op by the "map". ive seen flashpoint but havent played it but i like that flashpoint has "real" terrain. i also like the sight picture of flashpoint the best even tho i havent played it. i think ill try playing with the guys from that webpage tho.

elite gamer skills  :)
Yes the map is a little confining.
The sight picture is cheesy of course.  I'm guessing they are simulating some sort of Land Warrior fire control system.
TG also has servers for America's Army (more realistic weapons but cheesy maps and no single player / co-op modes) and Raven Shield (more realistic weapons but strictly CT/CQB maps).

Whoa... my apologies.

Just that the board was 4 days old... or at least... no posts older than that.  And badger... I'd investigate it further, but your name was attatched to it.

And psssst... verm... I've never said he wasn't part of this community for some time... someone else did.
