Moderator tonight was very silly!

40dogMAw was squelched with no warning for 10mins.
For the following
Albacore) told him to lick his sack
40dogMAW replied grow one first.

And that was it!!
For that he got squelched with out warning for ten minutes!!!
Sorry people but who ever the moderator was he needs to be removed!

Maybe so, but why reply at all? Just fly!

Maybe it was a series of things and not just this one incident.

They may have been some ongoing history that night in the text.

Never flown for a country that didn't 'police' itself. It's always has been easy and immediate shutting them up.

Don't give the MODs any more attention here. They have assumed a 'title' for a reason.

Geez Creamo... you couldn't be more off base.. more wrong headed. Sure the mods make mistakes... but I think we need MORE mods than less. A lot of over the top smack talking is allowed that really shouldn't be.

i can remeber any number of incidents where people went crazy with the language and insults. never a moderator around then. somone says nut sack in response to a cursed insult at the wrong time they get squelched.

same ol thing secret power = bad news.

Vader, the varying degree in which Ch1 is controlled would be better served by having more moderators as opposed to less. 40dog got muted the night before as well. Perhaps it was the same moderator who remembered. I'm not saying 40dog deserved either mute...but I can speak for myself: I have been muted a handful of times and deserved every one.

Well steve last nights muting was totally uncalled for no matterr how you add it up. My reply to someone saying lick my sack with grow one, barely warranted a warning. The moderator/censor obviously was a little over zealous. The funning thing was I answered Albacore in a manner to make sure I didn't cross any censorship lines and was immediately censored. Now. I for one think there should be censors in the arena but at the same time I believe there needs to be clear lines drawn in the sand. Bad language should certainly be censored. Argumented language should not. We are fighting in a war scenario. To think there won't be bad blood spilled over channel 1 is ludacris. Censors need to be trained to know whats over the line and whats not. What I said last night was not. Below is a screenshot of our encounter.

I want you steve, or anyone else, to tell me where a muting is warranted. At best a warning may have been warranted toward Albacore but no way me. Also as it turned out Albacore wasn't even talking to me. Just a simple mix up.

I was going to send a complaint to HTC but decide later after I calmed down, that it was probably either a mistake by the censor, as someone mention that night or an over zealous censor who I'm sure after my unmuting figured that I was pissed an that he may have made a mistake. Who knows for sure, but I felt better after venting on channel 1.

40dog. I tried to make it clear in my previous post: I'm not passing judgement on whether you deserved to be muted either of the two times I discussed. Cmon bro, I can see why you would be irked about the whole thing but I'm not making any kind of statement regarding what you typed. First off I luv ya man, second off we both know how hypocritical it would be for me to directly criticize anyone's behavior on CH1 without addressing my own as well. You have my full agreement though that MUCH worse banter goes on , unchecked, in the buffer than that which got you muted last.

yer all right,
Moderators are human & therefore subject to mistakes.
Moderators need to be held accountable for properly asserting their control.
Being muted really is no big deal.
More moerators are needed, during off-peak for instance.

I will agree that there isn't currently enough consistency in the applied muting practice. Some are allowed to spew negativety consistantly, the entire time they fly, for hours on end, while others get muted for seemingly harmless situations.
