i have a extraordinary problem. i fly this sim since 3 years with a lot of fun , but the time is changing and with her my computer system , so i use today win xp. and here starts the problem . i have problems to use my old ch f16 fighterstick gameport version with it. so i have buyed a other stick with usb interface. but there are not much good sticks outside. so i need to say my actual stick (logitech freedom 2.4) is not good enough. to explain why will take more time as you have to read.

i am in germany. there are not much dealers they sell the ch f16 fighterstick usb version . so maybe someone of you can sell me a used one or have a good idea where i can buy a new one from a online dealer.
when you will sell me this model i will transfer the money to your bank account and you can send the stick to my adress i will give you. please , i simply want a f16 fighterstick back in my right hand
to show you what it means to meet a german fighter ace in the sky ;]

It will be extremely hard to find a Fighterstick for that price...

But good luck anyways, hope you find one.

Does anyone know what a fighterstick feels like? I disliked the Cougar because its handle is the opposite of ergonomic. I am currently using a Top Gun Afterburner II which is the most comfortable stick I have ever used (10% the price of a cougar!)

I am tempted by CH, but not if the stick is as uncomfortable as the Cougar, needing a stretch to reach hat and gun buttons. ( and I have big farmer hands)

You can also try here, it seems they do ship internationally. Just over 100 dollars, so depending on the coversion rate that day, it may be right around 90 euros. Of course, then you have to add shipping...

I used http://www.provantage.com because they had the best price I could find. Shipping was more expensive than other vendors, but the package was delivered the next day

which was a very pleasant surprise.

I have average hands (size Large glove) and have no problems reaching the upper hat for views. The top left red button is a reach but it doesn't impact flight (in fact, I think its a benefit that I have to reach deliberately for it, since I tend to panic in tight situations and just start mashing buttons and having the button out of panic reach prevents me from accidentally dropping my ordinance). The springs aren't as stiff as the Cougar and the control is very precise. I have very, very small deadbands set up.

Download the new Control Manager 2.0 software from the CH Products web site before you install the joystick. In fact, you can d/l the CM2.0 today without even owning the stick, and you will have an understanding of how the joystick works. The software is free.
